I tell them I have a 32 ft ladder and that reaches 98 percent of the gutters I work on. (or what I would like to work on)<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio9VRsu3CqZmj55ZDjjJyw9Gzr4gKmzr7qmQodYDqdsp58EroLx3nUNypq49YpQPPd8BuqniAr1uxjT4gb5Mr5UuYVFJJXU_Hd0Lnmk6ZucXKjOskmxnR_XPVg3aVfgVbVtLV4_b8NbM0/s1600/bigladder.JPG" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEio9VRsu3CqZmj55ZDjjJyw9Gzr4gKmzr7qmQodYDqdsp58EroLx3nUNypq49YpQPPd8BuqniAr1uxjT4gb5Mr5UuYVFJJXU_Hd0Lnmk6ZucXKjOskmxnR_XPVg3aVfgVbVtLV4_b8NbM0/s320/bigladder.JPG" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Fixing a leaky corner up high</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
I have a 40 ft ladder but I have kinda put that one into retirement. I just don't trust a 30 year old aluminum ladder 4 stories up in the air. Let alone trust my back trying to set one up.<br />
<br />
I have had to rent bucket cranes for a couple of big jobs.<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdn86ZsZW9O9mcwjnO9avse7jhafPEn-WVVhfsd2HJ5eeHnvdEeOfktTjg_nIHv4JIQ1NyQFbnoVGAClSjcmnjhxxpviClgltaGHkwy_hRaFjsg_LDVxcaMk6XcYWjUu0qcSXx_y028vs/s1600/shilo.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdn86ZsZW9O9mcwjnO9avse7jhafPEn-WVVhfsd2HJ5eeHnvdEeOfktTjg_nIHv4JIQ1NyQFbnoVGAClSjcmnjhxxpviClgltaGHkwy_hRaFjsg_LDVxcaMk6XcYWjUu0qcSXx_y028vs/s320/shilo.jpg" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">New gutters and downspouts on historic church downtown</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<br />
So if you have some high gutters I can probably get to them.<div><br /></div><div>UPDATE April 2021 Not so likely now. After a decade or so and a partial knee replacement, from now on I think I will just stick to my 28ft ladder.</div>Arrow guttershttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04453922196550914588noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-582307727367595506.post-45645285982444347602012-06-01T08:48:00.000-07:002012-06-01T08:48:14.335-07:00Rain,RainWell after several weeks of dry weather, the first day of June brings some much needed rain.<br />
Just like a farmer, I keep an eye on the weather forecasts. If you are
in the gutter business it pays to have rain. Who calls to have gutter
repairs or cleaning if they don't know there is a problem?<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Trees growing out of the gutters.</td></tr>

So If you happened to have your recently placed mulch washed away, or a little wetness in the basement (or trees growing out of the gutters) give me a call.<br />
